horror movie question….vampires entering a home.?
Ok so im a fan of horror movies and vampire movies are my favorite. i have a few questions though that maybe another horror fan can answer. speaking from the movies, not real life, a law of vampirism says that a vampire cannot enter your home without permission. can this permission be given by any occupant, or does it have to be the actual rightful/legal owner? and what happens if a vampire has no permission but enters anyway, wats the consequence for the vampire? also garlic has been said to dter vampires, but ive heard that it wont prevent one from doing wat it has to do. another movie fan told me that garlic is to a vampire like a stink bomb is to a mortal, an offensive odor but not enough to prevent any action the being wants to carry out. so, speaking from the movies and not real life, what do u guys think?
apparently, the more powerful (older) a vampire is, the less effect little tricky stuff has on them, thats why crucifixes dont work on Dracula proper, cuz he is the most powerful vampire. if one of Draculas minions tries to sneak past a crucifix or garlic they cant, but Dracula can just use his evil powers to fling the cross or garlic away from him. As for the house thing, anyone that invites a vampire in is fair game. There is no consequence of trying to enter a dwelling, cuz the vampire simply cannot move past the doorway, like hitting a wall, they just have to turn around and walk away.
