How does a half vampire become a full vampire?

In a country in Asia(im sorry i just can’t namedrop on stuff like this), there was a guy who claimed he is a vampire. Many people did not believe in him though until a documentary film showing his “transformation” was made. On the video, at 2 am, he went to a forest and searched for a dead tree, and there he started to become strangely strong. He was able to uproot the dead tree. The cameraman, who was meters away zoomed the cam and the guy’s 2 front teeth seemed to look like ONE pointed teeth. So it’s like one big pointed teeth on the middle.
In the morning, the guy became normal again. He said that he wasn’t born a vampire. When he was a kid, he’s always been interested with believed-to-be-evil-possessing amulets. He made it his routine to go to the forest every 2 am to slash his 6th finger and pour the blood to the amulets. He then wears the amulets everyday..I forgot the other details but he said that’s how he became a vampire.

Okay, since you’re in mythology I’m guessing you want an answer that’s more in keeping with myths and legend than actual biology. Biologically… if the fetus in utero wasn’t completely changed by the vampire DNA then they could never be fully vampiric. It would also depend on whether the vampire was the mother or the father. In legend they are always the father.
So mythologically you’re looking at a dhampir (half-vampire). I don’t think I’ve ever seen anything in fiction or lore about a half-vampire becoming a true vampire. So… I would surmise that they cannot become a “full vampire”. But in fiction… who knows?

As I understand it, there is no such thing as a half-vampire. One either is one or is not one. After one is bitten by a vampire, according to folklore, one becomes very weak, from loss of blood. If one dies from such loss of blood, one becomes a vampire in turn. That is the mythology. That is the way one becomes a vampire, not through birth. It is not an inherited condition. So a child of a vampire would be no more likely to be a vampire than a child of a non-vampire, unless the vampire parent decided to drink his or her own child’s blood. Which would be very nasty, wouldn’t it? Almost like cannibalism, I should think! I don’t know where one would research this sort of thing, but my brother and I used to read a lot of Slavic folklore about vampires and we read the original novel about Dracula, so I suppose I know as much about vampires as anyone.

that just is pissing me off! there is no way a half-breed can become a pure blood! i am a pure blood and i was born a vamp. not bitten! thats the difference! half-breeds kill for fun! i dont kill for fun! i love blood, but try not to drink it and that causes pain at times!

If someones been bitten by a vampire they become a half-vampire.
Apparently they become a full Vampire after they make their first kill : )
I have no Idea if thats true or not … I’m just basing my knowledge on the move The Lost Boys … : P

Half Vamps, Half humans:
These hybrids are very rare and hard to even have. Only a few are in stories global
they are pale, indrastuble skin and beautiful strangly. Seemingly growing at a strange fast rate. They have blood and heart, human organs and can eat either blood and human food. Once they reach a age of 20-30s there ageing stops all together becomeing a fullvampire. As a baby still in the mothers stomech, it ussaly tends to rip her from the in side out to get out, kiling the mother. Again, only a few have living mothers. There eyes tend to be a human color, brown green blue hazel. In some stories the male can be poisiones, but if it is determaned by gender or just a power, is unknown.
