For more than three decades and with great advancements in the human race, never have I encountered a single detailed account of anyone aver seeing an actual vampire. It is alleged that these creatures suck blood from other living creatures from the jugular vein. If you talk of cannibals I will agree but blood sucking beings do not exist. I believe this stories were told to encourage the youth to stay indoors once it gets dark in order to avoid dangerous acts that are committed at night. All cultures around the world have various folk-tales that help in instilling certain vital principals to the society. Instilling fear goes to great lengths in achieving this and ensuring the story is passed on down the generation.

Honestly I find vampire stories to be very captivating although I don’t believe in their existence. I enjoy watching movies that have anything related to vampires on television, no matter how fictional they seem to be. Probably this is due to the fact that I still would like to prove once and for all that it is all a mere myth and nothing more. If and when vampires do exist, then finally man will have a true predator that will surely tilt the balance of the ecosystem since it must take a lot of blood to be satisfied.

What’s the weirdest thing someone has ever said to you?

Me: My older sister said that I’m a vampire. Specific words, “Joanna, you’re such a vampire.
