What are some good books that have to do with vampires?

I would like to compare the way vampires are represented in them because of the beautiful ones in Twilight. It’s kinda of a boredom question too.

    Anne Rice is a must read if you like vampires. Start with Interview with the vampire. It was the first one and its much better than the movie.
