love anything by l.j. smith. if you haven’t read any of her other books, do it! you will love them. start with the night world series, it’s the last series she wrote but it’s really really really good.

The House of NIght series Chosen, Betrayed, Marked, and Untamed coming in september, and 5 more after that its like Hogwarts for Vampires it really good and The Morganville Vampires series four are out now with the lastest one Feasts of Fools and The Vampire Academy 2 so far with one coming out in November

Who doesn’t love Vampire Diaries… sigh… It is a wonderful book.
Here are some other great reads (I put them in order from my personal favorites although I was unsure about a few):
1. Twilight series by Stephenie Meyer- A must read. If you haven’t read this one, your life has been very incomplete.
2. A Girl’s Guide to Vampires, Sex, Lies, and Vampires, and Sex and the Single Vampire by Katie MacAlister- Also my all time favorite. I absolutely love Christian (one of the characters)
3.Dark Hunter Series by Sherrilyn Kenyon- All I can say is OMG. I definitely love this one tremendously. It is perhaps my favorite (as well as the twilight series) out of all of them. Just read ut. You will definitly love it.I read all twenty something or books in the series and let me tell you… absolutely wonderful. You will fall in love with at least one character in each book. It’s a tear jerking series.
4. House of Night Series by P.C. Cast and Kristin Cast- If you ever want to read a book about a Vampire academy, then you must read this. The book is full of complications between the main character and it makes the book wonderful. You must read it. 4th book come out in September.
5. Vampire Kisses by Ellen Schreiber- It is a wonderful book, but after reading the Twilight Series, it seemed dull in comparison. I suggest you read this one first so you can have something more exciting to read afterwards. But don’t let me discourage you, this ids definitely a must read.
6. Anita Blake Series by Laurell K. Hamilton- An action packed novel about an animator who kills vampire, hence she is given the title “Vampire Executioner”. But vampires aren’t the only paranormal creatures you will see (Werewolves, wereleopards, and other creatures). This was the second vampire series I read and I was absolutely in love with it.
7. The Morganville Vampires Series by Rachel Caine- I’m tired of writing comments so just read it. The first book was alright but as you read the others you will definitely like it.
