Stephenie answered that question a very long time ago. This is what she said “Several girls wanted to know if Edward would have a more difficult time being around Bella when she’s having her period. Answer: Yes, a little bit, but he would never say anything about it–much too much of a gentleman. And Bella would be way to embarrassed to ask. (It’s not the same as a cut, though. It’s sort of “dead” blood, if you get my meaning).”

I was wondering the same thing! Stephenie Meyer said that it would be harder but the Vampires would be able to resist because it was kinda like ‘dead blood’.

i lnow that stephenie meyer answered that on her site but in her answer she said they can resist but remember in new moon jasper attacks her on her b day how can he resust her periond but not her arm? im confused
