Vampires vs Werewolves, where did it all start?

OK, I don’t get it AT ALL.
How in the world are vampires & werewolves against each other? Isn’t it common sense to gang up on the human race to kill them??? I mean the only story I’ve heard them gang up on others was the third book of the twilight saga, Eclipse. So my question is how are they enemies and why and where did it all originate???

Vampires and werewolves are totally different species… Homo Lupus and Homo Sanguis. Both with human traits, but different species. They are opposites almost. Cold and warm, sophisticates and rogues. It’s a neverending secret war almost…

Screw what ever Twilight says about either or. No offense to twilight, because they are great books, but theyre inaccurate.

Vampires this werewolves are dirty animals, dogs, wild, and never should live in society. Stupid and uncivilized.

Werewolves think that vampires are over sophisticated blood sucking cold hearted bloodless creeps. Both are right, both are wrong.

How it started? I’m really not sure… its almost like racism. How did that start? Why are african americans discrimanated so much, and everyone else, like mexicans or asians? It’s because we’re different, it’s because everyone is different, and we just wont be able to get along, or at least thats what I think.
