is Yuuki Cross a vampire originally too?

i am really confused.i read up info in wiki but i don’t understand much from the explanation….
So like she was a pure blooded vampire too?then how come when Zero sucks blood from her, he doesn’t notice…and she needs to be bitten to be awaken??? HUH??And how come her hair become long after Kaname Kuran turn her into her vampire??

Yes… she is a pure blood vampire. Her mother erased all her memories before sending her away so that they could fight Rido Kuran. After drinking Kaname’s blood her memories returned. And Kaname is not her true brother since he is the Kuran ancestor. But he was raised by Yuuki’s parents… which in turn means he and Yuuki were raised as siblings
