Does anyone play Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines at all?need advice on this thing called Companion Mod?

just wondering what it does,and how does it work(if at all),cause i downloaded it,but cant get ‘companions’.
also are there any other mods(that work) for the game?

I’m having the same problem as you and could not get any help.
