Can you answer me these questions about True Blood?

Ok! I’m from Brazil and True Blood is passing here by HBO Brasil (or it will pass; I don’t remember). I saw the tease trailer on tv and I like that.
But my hope is bigger on the people who watch it than HBO Brasil. So, I think an American opinion would be my best choice to know better about this tv show:

1.) i think it’s very good. i really like it. it’s exciting because there is a lot of action, and the vampires are more realistic, like the vampires in horrow movies and such. none of that sparkle when exposed to the sun crap.
2.) no, there isn’t as much love and drama as twilight, but there is some. it’s not full of love, but more like one night stands and coworkers getting together. mainly the love is between Sookie(main character) and Bill (main characte, vampire)
3.) most of is about vampires, but also some shapeshifters. also, Sookie the main character can read minds, except Bill’s. (not werewolves, they are considered bad in this series)
4.) 5 things? well, i’ll try.
1. vampires don’t sparkle in the sun, they burn.
2. Sookie can read minds, but tries her best not to read her friends.
3. Vampires just recently got accepted in society in Bon Temps, which is the place this show takes place.
4. the vampires cannot come outside during the day at all, they sleep in their basements in coffins.
5. it’s a book series and it follows the books very well.
